Do you track your expenses, whether in a journal or digitally? Well, if you don't, you'll probably because it happened to me last month.
I was also one of those guys who never record or track my expenses. I always thought I had a rough idea of where my money goes, and honestly, that felt enough. But last month, while casually reviewing my expenses, just to some easy extent, I got stuck. There was a complete blackout in my mind. A difference of Rs. 2700/- was staring me in the face like an unsolved mystery.
I started thinking: What did I buy? Nothing important. Food? Hanging out with friends? Possible... but no solid memory. Then suddenly, Oh yes! Mobile phone package! But no, I already had a record for that, and the amount didn't match.
Long story short, I couldn't remember where that money went. I even asked my family members (as if they secretly spent my money without telling me). At this point, I did what every confused person does, I involved the family. I ask my wife, She didn't answer immediately. She just looked at me, that look, the one that says, "Are you seriously asking me this?" For a brief moment, it felt like a family investigation drama, except there was no detective, no evidence, and no conclusion. The money had vanished like a magician's trick.
In the end, I accepted defeat. I forgot about it and moved on, telling myself it's just Rs. 2700, as if that makes it hurt less.
After one month, I came to know that Bircube is working on an app called TEE – Track Expense Effortlessly. As the name suggests, it is made for tracking your money. But one word caught my attention: "Effortlessly." That word made me curious. Because honestly, I had already tried many apps like this. Some were full of ads, so confusing that you forget whether you are using an app or watching a YouTube video. Others were too jargony and complex, making me more confused than financially disciplined.

Then the beta version was released, and luckily, I was part of the testing team. Unfortunately, due to some build issues, the app crashed on the first release. Still, I was waiting because it promised "effortless," and I wanted to see if it actually meant it. After one week, it was released again. Thanks to God, this time it worked.
The moment of truth came when I finally tested it properly. From one-click account creation to adding and analysing daily and monthly expenses, the app felt surprisingly simple. It was almost perfect, exactly what I wanted. Of course, not perfect in the technical sense; there were some bugs, but I know those things get fixed with time.
So how was it perfect for me?
As I mentioned earlier, I wanted an app that is free from aggressive ads that drill into your mind. I also wanted something easy to use, without unnecessary complexity, and that is exactly what I got from this app.
The app is very straightforward. You sign up with one click, add your total income, then start adding your expenses with date and extra details if needed. And boom! You are instantly aware of where your hard-earned cash is going. Trust me, it is surprisingly relaxing to finally know how and where you spent your money.
In short, the app provides important financial visibility, which naturally leads to better budgeting. It helps reduce unnecessary spending and highlights your habits and patterns. The TEE App helps you stick to your budget, instead of your budget silently abandoning you.

And hey, I'm not keeping this to myself; you really should check it out too. Here's the link: TEE-APP
